Americade 2002

On June 4, 2002, we loaded up the bikes, trailer and van and headed northeast 250 miles to the 25th Americade Bike Rally in Lake George, NY. There were 10 of us that went (if we count the 3 men folk) and had a super great time.  Here's a bit of Americade 2002!

Eric and Joe getting the trailer ready to carry all the stuff that 7 women will bring with them for a 5 day trip...not to mention a bike or two!

WE'RE PROUD TO BE TWISTED SISTERS!

Here we have Sandy in her 4 wheeled, jet charged Tyco. This particular model sports superior handling as Sandy demonstrates! Behind her is Ann on her pink 3 wheeler. Ann is on a sugar-high from that peppermint stick in her mouth!

Can't forget about Little Dennis.  He has taken the Western route riding a palomino steed, but is still running neck and neck with Sandy in her jet charged Tyco.  How does he do that?

BUT WAIT... Where is Bert? She must be late, as usual...

If anyone has a pic of  "Little Bert" let me know !

Also looking for Little Dee, if you've seen her, please bring her to the service desk, her mother is looking for  her.

All right, all right - I'm coming !

Seems that even though I may be the first one there, I'm still the last one to be ready!

Finally, let me introduce -

The Little Twisteds!

Wouldn't you like to be a Twisted, too?? Twisted Sisters, oh, Twisted Sisters....

(Think of the Dr Pepper commercial for that line...)

Here's Robin on her 3 wheeler with a major sissy bar! Not quite an Indian, but...

Next is Modest Cathy with her blue beauty- notice the flames on the side !

Leading the "Brat-Pack" was our Lk George trip leader, Eric on his Playskool 4-wheeler.

Our B'fast in B'ville !!

We stopped in Baldwinsville NY for a quick meal where even the waitress sat down with us!

Downtown Lake George was a mass of people and bikes everywhere!! Look in the background of the pic and you'll see a cloud of smoke from bikes burning out down the street.

A few of us spent some time in Vermont - took 7 minutes to cross over on the Ferry at Ft. Ticonderoga.

Watch out, guys!  This guy may be serious competition!
